The Fairfax Public School difference

High-quality student-centred teaching and learning

Our high ratio of teachers to students enables greater focus on learning at point of need to facilitate improvement and growth. We recognise and nurture student growth in areas aligned with the high potential and gifted streams (HPGE). HPGE opportunities are flexible depending on individual student strengths identified each year.

A strong sense of belonging

A school and community where everyone know and care for each other. Students are supported to be the best version of themselves and have a strong sense of identity. Inclusion is valued through demonstrated action.

A learning environment where students thrive

Children can really thrive in a quiet, country environment free of what can be overwhelming large classrooms of children and urban distractions; whilst building a strong social foundation with a smaller cohort of friends both at Fairfax and other small schools who regularly join together with the Fairfax students for sports, excursions and other cultural or academic activities.

2026 Transition Program

Starting primary school is a big step for children and families. Our school runs orientation and transition days to help your child feel ready for Kindergarten and to support you as parents and carers.
