At Fairfax Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Currabubula Small Schools Art Show

We are fortunate to access the expertise of a visual arts teacher who has given students the opportunity to develop their visual arts skill and excel. This is reflected in our success in the Currabubula Small Schools Art Show for 2026. A first, two seconds, and an encouragement were our results this year from four entries.

Debating

NSW Premier’s Debating Challenge

A focus on Public Speaking has also led us to join with a local small school to enable participation in the NSW Premier’s Debating Challenge. In our first year we won four out of four debates to become Zone winners.

Trips and excursions - Swimming Carnival 2026

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Term 1, Fairfax held their annual swimming carnival to which lots of ribbons were brought back to the school!
