P&C news and fundraisers

This term we are holding a winter raffle:

1st - Trailer load of firewood
2nd - Slow cooker
3rd - Enamel mugs and hot chocolate

Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5. Drawn on 3rd June 2017.

Tickets are available from our school office, thank you for supporting our fund-raising efforts.

Over the past few years, we have been working towards raising the necessary funds to support our school to purchase a Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) for our school. This year, after significant community consultation and community support, we were very pleased to see the completion of the COLA construction.

Having a COLA at Fairfax Public School allows our students to have and all-weather outdoor learning and play area. This area is cool and sun safe area for the hot summer days and for the rainy days it has given us a space to run sports and fitness programs in a safe covered area.

We would like to thank the local community for their ongoing support to this project through various fund-raisers over the past few years. This COLA is an asset to our school and already we would not know what to do without it!

Excitedly we officially opened our Community Tribute Paver Garden earlier this year, thank you to everyone who joined us on the day to make the opening a huge success! It was great to see so many past students, families and staff members come along to join us on the day.
